Fix Outlook error cannot create file



Microsoft Outlook is one of the most important application for business professionals and others. This is the most frequently used program therefore it must be reliable. Therefore you will either have to clean the temp folder or have to use other folder as temporary folder of Outlook. Here, we have shown you how to set new temporary folder for Outlook to fix the error. First of all create a new folder in C drive with name 'temp1' and follow the following steps.

Steps to set new Outlook 2003 temp folder:

  1. Click Start -> Run
  2. Type 'regedit' in Run textbox -> Ok
  3. Click on Edit menu -> Find 'OutlookSecureTemFolder' or locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security\
  4. In the right pane, double click 'OutlookSecureTempFolder'
  5. In the 'Value Data' field, type 'C:\temp1\' and then click OK
  6. Exit the Registry Editor
  7. Reboot your computer

Now you will be able to open and save email attachment in your computer. If the Outlook error is not fixed then there may be problem with Outlook pst file.
